Alex Mackay Cooks for Everybody Everyday, 21st June 2012
‘Alex’s writing is heartfelt and inspired, and he is the best home cook and cookery teacher I know (except Maman Blanc, of course!)’ RAYMOND BLANC
Carrow Road regular and award-winning chef, Alex Mackay has releasied his brand new cookery book ‘Everybody Everyday’. The innovative new book offers the everyday cook tips on how to cook six basic ingredients, six sauces and six slow-cooked meals and the many different ways in which they can be presented. We are delighted to announce that Alex will be joining us for one special day where he will demonstrate up to nine of his recipes from his new book.
Alex is a cookery teacher extraordinaire, formerly director of Raymond Blanc’s le Manoir aux Quat’ Saisons cookery school and Le Baou d’Infer cookery school in Provence and having run many of our popular courses for Delia Smith at Carrow Road. For this exclusive day with Alex, he will show you how you can reinvent simple recipes and get some inspiration and excitement back into the kitchen!
Your special day starts with coffee and pastries, then you’ll watch a cookery demonstration by the brilliant Alex. In between the demonstrations, our wine expert Graham Donaldson will provide you with some fun and interesting wine tasting.
